Pink Ribbon & Women Lahore, Punjab — In a major step toward promoting women’s health and socio-economic independence, a comprehensive Breast Cancer Awareness and Women Empowerment Session was successfully held at Khokhar Palace, Johar Town. Organized by Noor Salman Chaudhry, PML-N Lahore Women’s Wing Leader and President of Women Wing PP-168, the event highlighted the crucial principle that a healthy woman is the foundation of a healthy society.
The primary focus of the seminar was raising awareness about breast cancer prevention, early diagnosis, and removing the social stigma surrounding women’s health issues. Expert speakers emphasized that timely screening and awareness significantly increase survival rates and save lives.
A key highlight was a special vision message shared by Omer Aftab, Founder & CEO of Pink Ribbon Pakistan. He urged women to break through societal hesitations and fear, reinforcing that early detection remains the most effective cure against breast cancer.
